1950's Satin Prom
A remarkable example of beautiful tailoring. The beautifully cut neckline gives a great pust to the cleavage. The construction seam under the bust needs to sit under the bust. A 32 C-DD cup work the best.
The waist actually measures as 27.5". However due to the cut ending in the middle of the waist roughly a 26" inch waist is recommended for dancing etc. If a size 10 has a very small upper body this dress could work given the fabric at the hips is heavily pleated. (Refer to measurements).
This dress was photographed without an underskirt and it sits very well. A petticoat can be added for more volume and classic 50's look.
We think this could be a beautiful peice for a wedding dress. Think Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller.
